Hi, we’re Liftoff from Zurich — a strongly connected band with original music, lots of experience, and a whole lot of passion and band spirit. Right now, we’re looking for a new frontwoman or frontman to open the next chapter in our band’s story. You have a powerful, expressive voice, love being on stage, and know how to truly fire up an audience. You feel (and live 🙂) funk, soul, and R&B, write your own lyrics and/or music, and see yourself as an equal member of the band. You’re musically ambitious, but you don’t depend on music for a living and are looking for a project with quality and heart that fits alongside work and everyday life.
What awaits you: four committed and experienced bandmates, plenty of ideas for new songs to develop together, and a fully equipped rehearsal room / studio with multitrack recording facilities in Dietikon, just five minutes from the train station. We meet about once a week to rehearse, write songs, arrange — and (very importantly) have fun! Our long-term goal is to return to regular gigs and releases, but first and foremost we want to get to know each other and develop new ideas together.
